Our Values
-
We believe nothing of eternal importance will happen apart from prayer. Therefore, we seek to have every service, person, and ministry lifted up in prayer.
…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
-
We believe spiritual growth happens in community and not in isolation. Therefore, we intentionally seek to do spiritual good to one another.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:9-10)
-
We believe following Christ means we will seek to serve others. Therefore, we seek to be the first to serve, not the first to be served.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)
