Unshakable and Unafraid - Living... In Light of His Return
1st - Things That Matter Most: Serve First
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. (2 Thessalonians 1:3–4)
This week we started a new series through the book of 2. Please listen with us as we learn to stand unshakable and unafraid as we wait for or Lord’s sure return.
1st - Things That Matter Most: Others First
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10: 45)
Please listen with us as we wrap up our series on the things that matter most. This week Pastor Kevin emphasizes the importance of the servant in God’s kingdom.
1st - Things That Matter Most: Faith First
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:3–5)
In a country that highly values individuality, it can be burdensome to imagine living life wholly to serve your neighbor. Unsurprisingly, Christ’s vision for the future seems to turn cultural values on its head, for that is precisely what we are called to do. Please listen with us as Pastor Kevin continues his series on the things that matter most, and the importance of putting others first.
1st - Things That Matter Most: Pray First
For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
In continuing with his series on the things that matter most, Pastor Kevin has added faith on the list of our highest priorities. Whether in times of famine or plenty, our calling remains the same. Put your faith in God. Please listen with us this week, as we learn together how God can and will pull us through impossible situations if we only have the faith to trust him.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. (Philippians 4:6)
As we continue our new series on things that matter most, Pastor Kevin expounds on the indispensable need for prayer in our daily lives. Please take some time to listen with us, and learn the practical application of God’s word.
