Grace-Filled Generosity and the Power of Greed // March 10, 2019
“And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.” (Acts 4:32-35)
“Biblical community is the result of the gospel.” - Pastor Kevin Barke
This week Pastor Kevin speaks on a difficult but potentially life-giving message concerning generosity vs. greed in God’s family. Watch as we uncover in Acts 4 & 5, the meaning of, and the means for living in true community as the body of Christ.
Holy Boldness // March 3, 2019
“Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (Acts 4:29-30)
To His disciples Christ promised that if we ask anything in his name we have it. He strongly encouraged us to be bold in our asking, and to stand firm in the battle against Satan. Unfortunately, just as we can be certain of the fidelity of this promise, we can be sure that Satan will do all in his power to keep us from living by it. So, this week Pastor Kevin asks the convicting question: “Are you standing bold for the gospel of Christ?”
Watch as Pastor Kevin digs deep into Act 4 where he discusses the practical elements of boldness in the midst of adversity.
By What Name? // February 24, 2019
And when they had set them in the midst, they inquired, “By what power or by what name did you do this?” (Acts 4:7)
It’s hard to imagine a world without names. They give us a sense of identity in a way nothing else can, and the name of God’s son is the most significant of all. Watch as Pastor Drew helps us discover how the power of the name of Jesus can transform our lives.
Heaven’s Power on Earth // January 20, 2019
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile." (Romans 1:16)
These days it seems like life’s circumstances are spiraling out of control, and we have zero power to stop it. In truth, even if we are helpless to stop disasters we are not hopeless in overcoming them. Watch as Pastor Kevin digs in to the book of Acts, and reveals how the power of Heaven brings promise for the future.
Commissioned // January 13, 2019
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
In a country were the American dream is preached more fervently than the gospel, it can be easy for Christians to get sucked into the mentality that our life’s purpose can be found in a job, a well-built 401k, or in the perfect political platform. However, Christ has made it clear that the life of a true disciple will not be driven by the number of dollars in their bank account, but by number of souls that are still waiting to be welcomed into His kingdom. Watch as Pastor Kevin teaches us how to align our lives and hold fast to the greatest dream ever given to mankind.

Hope for the Weary
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
In the tired and exhausting lives that we live, it seems inevitable that we will find ourselves weary and ready to quit. The writer of Hebrews however shows us how to not grow weary in those seasons of life and our faith. Join Pastor Drew on this last Sunday of 2018 as he discusses Hebrews 12:1-17 and reveals the hope we have when we're weary.

Hope for the Soul
And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. (Luke 1:46-49)
What greater moment to express gratitude toward God than when you discover that you have the privilege of carrying the long awaited salvation of the world? The magnitude of this honor was not lost on Mary, and the song that came from her expressed as much. Please listen with us as Pastor Kevin walks through the moving lyrics in Luke, sung by young mother preparing to receive her savior.

"We are to pray in times of adversity, lest we become faithless and unbelieving. We are to pray in times of prosperity, lest we become boastful and proud. Waiting… In Light of His Return (Part 2)
“They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness." (2 Thessalonians 2:1–12)
In our continued study of 2 Thessalonians, we will look into the bible predictions of concerning a great deceiver who will oppose God and his church. How will we identify this deceiver?
